C.H. Patterson's works have enriched the science and art of counseling. He has served as mentor and exemplar for generations of students, his standards of excellence have inspired many, and his dedication to the best of counseling psychology has placed him among the leaders of psychotherapy for decades. He has earned the highest respect from his peers, who presented him with The Leona Tyler Award in 1994 for oustanding contributions to education, training, supervision, and practice in counseling psychology. Doctor Patterson lived in Asheville, North Carolina for the latter part of his life.
